Naming Ceremonies

If you’re keen to welcome your new arrival into the family, but a christening or baptism isn’t for you, why not consider a celebrant-led baby naming ceremony?

We’ll work together to create a ceremony unique to your child and your circumstances. There is no restriction on content, format or style.

You can choose to make promises to your child, to acknowledge the love and support of guiding parents, grandparents and siblings. You can include symbolic acts such as lighting a candle or planting a tree.

A naming ceremony is a wonderful way to welcome a new baby, to celebrate adoption or to mark the blending of two families, or gender reassignment.
